Hey Lovelies, i've been a lot braver and more experimental with my makeup lately, usually i would have saved the bold lips for nigh time looks, however i've found myself really being drawn to darker more vampy shades and have been wearing a bold lip for normal everyday makeup. 

This face of the day is the makeup i wore yesterday and i really liked how it turned out, i got a few compliments too which is always nice so i thought i share it with you as i want to do start doing more makeup posts. 

I worked the makeup around my favorite lipstick of the moment my dark plum Rimmel moisture Renew lipstick (Review). As its such a dark and vibrant glossy colour and i was doing a daytime look i didn't want too much going on with the eyes so i kept them simple using just two matte shadows from the Soap and Glory quad. 

I applied the lightest cream shade Vanilla all over the lid up to the brow bone and just applied the darkest brown shade Mudhoney into the crease and under the bottom lashes for a bit of definition, i skipped eyeliner and just applied a couple of coats of mascara.

I decided to go for a bright lip today and i love the colour of this Rimmel lipgloss, the formulation of the  Apocolips range is amazing and they last a long time. As i went for a bright lip i kept everything else pretty natural although it now doesn't seem like it looking at this list...

I went out for lunch with a friend today, and wanted to dress summery even with the miserable rainy weather! I picked this pretty white lace top to go with my favorite topshop jeans and added this bright pink jacket to add some colour. I really love this jacket it really helps to dress up a casual outfit, i wore these nude sandals because there so comfy and i like mixing bright colours and nudes together.

Todays OOTD!

Don't you just love it when you get a day off and the sun is actually shining? Waking up to a beautiful day instantly puts me in a good mood! 

Todays outfit

I love choosing summery outfits and today i decided to go for my new coral skirt from boohoo and my aztec crop top from new look. I really like the fit and shape of this skirt it sits nicely on the waist, and its a good length not too short so perfect for day-wear. I don't like having a lot of stomach on show, so as this shirt sits quiet high on the waist i find its the perfect item to team with a crop top.

The shoes i chose are these nude sandals from new look, they are sooo comfy! They have a slight wedge heel and i really like the gold detailing, they also come in pink and black. The nude and black were my favorites but i just couldn't decide between the two and so ended up buying both... and i am still tempted to go and buy the pink pair!

As for my makeup, i dont go for anything too dramatic in the daytime i like to keep it natural and just go for a bronzed fresh look, and with my hair i just kept it simple and went for a tousled wavy look using a large barrel curling tong.
